Details of our 2019 Concerts are now available and we look forward to seeing you.
Message From the Chairman
I do hope that you will be able to join us at our AGM and social evening on Saturday October 6th at 7pm in the Church Rooms. After a short meeting, there will be a recital by fourteen year old violinist Hannah Brooks-Hughes and pianist Sara Harris, followed by refreshments. Hannah was the youngest ever winner of the Gloucestershire Young Musician Competition in 2017 and the duo will be playing music by Bach, Beethoven, Saint-Saens and Sarasate.
For our 2019 Season, we have again engaged an outstanding list of artists. We are pleased to be welcoming back to Painswick Voces8 who gave us such a vibrant performance in 2014, pianist Stephen Hough, described as one of the most distinctive artists of his generation, the internationally acclaimed Carducci Quartet and Julian Bliss, one of the world’s finest clarinettists. Details of Artists and Programmes are now on our website. The committee always values feedback from members as a help in planning future programmes, and welcomes suggestions for particular artists and ensembles.
